Verizon B2B
Verizon B2B
Verizon has 3 different divisions that focus on the different needs of each segment; consumer, business, and media. I worked almost exclusively on the business account while working at MRM as an Art Director. Their business division has several products and services aimed at either businesses small and large or public safety and government agencies. We managed a large portion of their campaigns, videos, webpages, print/digital sales materials, events, presentations, etc.
Below you’ll find some of the highlights of my work for Verizon.
Use Case Webpage & Video
The new standard
of mobile gaming.
Verizon has partnered with a lot of industry pioneers like the NFL, JetBlue, and Bethesda to put their 5G network to the test. We saw this as an opportunity to create use cases to show off the benefits of 5G for businesses. I was given the task of telling the story of their partnership with Bethesda and Amazon Web Services through a custom web experience and short testimonial video interviewing the team members at Bethesda.
Designed from scratch, I incorporated a lot video elements, images, animation, etc. to look and feel like the next-gen tech it’s showcasing. After passing it off to our dev team, I worked closely with them to make sure it followed my vision, performed on any screen size, and still met the launch deadlines focused around the release of DOOM Eternal.
15 Sec. Video Series
Keeping productivity
accident-proof.
While a few of us were halfway through filming a series of videos in Chile, Verizon asked us to also create a series of short videos highlighting the benefits of their soon to launch Total Mobile Protection for Business service. With short notice and our flight home quickly approaching, our producer, creative director, and I got to work concepting, sourcing the talent, locations, crew, 20+ American-looking smartphones we could afford to break, and fitting the extra shoot days into our schedule to create three 15 second videos that exceeded their expectations.
Digital and Print Report
Data-driven summary of the
cybersecurity landscape.
Verizon publishes several analyst reports every year ranging from payment security to data breaches that educate small, medium and/or enterprise companies on the state of the subject and how to best protect their company. I was able to spearhead the design of their first cyber-espionage report which involved cover design, layout, graphics, and complex data visualization through charts, graphs, etc.

Illustrations
Lines worth a
thousand words.
Verizon uses illustrations to support, clarify or enhance ideas not easily conveyed through photography. Having the long list of assets to create like we did, with that comes an even longer list of illustrations that needed to be designed.
Live-action and animated videos
Complex storytelling at 24fps.
5G in the public sector 1:36
Verizon gave us a budget of $1M for a series of 3 walk-and-talk videos showing the capabilities of 5G. We pitched concepts, storyboarded, awarded a director, casted talent, filmed in Toronto for ~2 weeks and spent a few more weeks afterwards editing and doing post-production.
Business Internet Secure 1:41
Verizon was getting ready to introduce their new Business Internet Secure service and wanted an explainer video to aid the launch. This was at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, so unable to film, this video is a mix of stock footage and Verizon’s animated illustration style.
